Smartshopper points gone!!!

Good morning

I received a mail on 28/12/2017 with a point balance of +/-876500

I received an email now on 18/01/2018 with a point balance of 15098 ( a lot less than 28/12/2017) The mail I received on 18/01/2018 even state that I must use 4264 by 01/02/2018 because they going to expire, but I never received an email about the other points that expired on 31/12/2017!!!!

I have tried numerous times to call the Smartshopper helpdesk. No luc**** Nobody picks up the phone, even if you hold more than 30 minutes. I have send 3 emails requesting feedback. No luc****

I am really upset that I can't get this resolved because the channels I am supposed to use, doesn't work and I am really upset because I didn't get any notifications about the points that expired end of December!!!!

I would like my points back!

Good day Dawianna,

Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns with us.

Kindly accept our apologies for any inconveniences caused to you.

Smart Shopper points are valid for 12 months from the time they’re earned. Only points older than 12 months will expire and not all of your points, and points older than 12 months will continue to expire on a rolling month basis. The best way not to lose your PnP rewards is to make sure you spend them from time to time. We always use your oldest points first so use your points to save even more on every day shopping or treat yourself to something special. You can switch points on the app or via the kiosk.

We are sorry you didn't receive the communication that points are valid for 12 months from earning date via our emails or on till slips.

We are busy addressing your complaint with the Smart Shopper Team.

We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels.

Kind Regards,
Vanitha Venketas

Best regards,

DT
