smartshopper card is a waste of time
I grew up with PicknPay as my parents retailer of choice, but as time has gone on I started loosing loyalty in the company and the brand. I progressed to most of my shopping at Checkers and minimal at PnP, with those purchases largely because of the loyalty points. Now you have taken that away. Yes you are going to tell me how it is all on your T&C's and available on some obscure part of your website, but you are missing the point. It is loyalty.. you gave it to keep me still loyal in some way... and now you took it away... and now I am withdrawing my loyalty. I've had enough of you... Pick n pay... you gained a "few" rands from me but you lost "all" my loyalty.

Smart Shopper points are valid for 12 months from the time they’re earned. Only points older than 12 months will expire and not all of your points, and points older than 12 months will continue to expire on a rolling month basis. The best way not to lose your PnP rewards is to make sure you spend them from time to time. We always use your oldest points first so use your points to save even more on every day shopping or treat yourself to something special. You can switch points on the app or via the kiosk.
