Smart system my foot & shoddy customer service

I bought 10 tins of homestyle samp on Monday at your Fourways store.
I asked the teller to throw the slip away before I left. When I got home I realised that the 5 tins I had opened and used tasted terrible. Instead of wasting the other 5 tins I decided to go into your Chilli branch to exchange it for the plain one.Wow, well that was a mission! Because I did not have a receipt, I couldn't swop out the curried one for the plain one. But I used my smart shopper card and even got vitality points for my purchase. How does theis card not capture sales information. Am I now being presumed a *****? That I bought the tins at another chain of stores, only to exchange it at Pick n Pay? Is that how you treat customers?
And to make it worse, I then decided to buy the original flavour because I needed it and I went back to the kiosk to pay. Only to have Lilo ( the rudest person I have ever met at any of your stores) tell me that she can't assist because she isn't a teller and that I must stand in a normal line with people paying for trolleys of goods. There was no inclination to help at all. So now what on earth do I do with 5 tins of samp that I don't like the flavour of?
