SMART SHOPPER ****. STAY AWAY FROM PICK N PAY!!!!
Good Day
My name is Thabang Katane, a single mother to for daughters in Rustenburg. From around February, March and April, I did alot of spending. Understand that out of Checkers, Shoprite, Spar and your other competitors I specifically chose to be a loyal customer to Pick n Pay mainly because of the smart shopper. The undeserving pick n pay.
Ill give you a breakdown of how I spent in those few months. I ate out at restaurants & used my card, I swiped my smart shopper at filling stations, I rented a Toyota Corolla from Europcar Rustenburg and paid R12 000, I rented another vehicle from Europcar Polokwane, a Toyota Fortuner at R19 000. I further spent R1000 at Pick n Pay Clothing at Waterfall Mall Rustenburg and later on the same day spent a further R10 200 at the very same shop buying clothing. They even forgot to give me all my plastic bags and I had to drive all the way back to the store the following day after realising my bags are missing and to further demand a refund for my peyrol, where a little Caucasian boy was so rude to me until I spoke to the manager who didn't know what to do until I spoke to the general manager who resolved the issue. I've spent monies as well at pick n pay supermarket stores. In total, I could say in those months alone I spent R50 000 to R60 000 if not more using my smart shopper as my attached bank statements will confirm. Before the month of March and April, I'd use the smart shopper just normally for monthly groceries and petrol and wimpy.
I find myself having to complain once again about Pick n Pay. The *********** pick n pay that fails to deliver but are quick to put our hard earned monies in their tills. I recently walked into pick n pay supermarket waterfall mall to buy groceries of R5000 using cash and at the door I was convinced to open a Tyme Bank account of which I did because I was told it would double my points. After opening the account, to my disbelief, I had ZERO smart shopper points. After all my spending and putting up with your appalling service I had not a single point to my name. When I asked the Tyme Bank guy he told me to query in the office of which I didn't do because I had my four daughters with me and they are a handful and we hadn't even begun buying groceries yet. All I wanted to do was to buy groceries and go home. I bought the groceries and left.
I now want to use my missing points for groceries, and I expect to have the points reimbursed to me, I spent thousands of rands to earn them and I expect to be compensated for this too.
Have a look at my statements attached below as receipts are long thrown away, of how I spent at pick n pay and partners and resolve this before the close of business today 30 July 2021 or I will escalate this, I will expose you to HELLO PETER and all other exposing platforms of what a **** your smart shopper is. I will also ensure that I warn other customers and have them migrate to Checkers. Along with myself. I will not rest until the country knows you for who you really are. I vow. Not with my hard earned money.
I await your prompt response

Please accept our apologies for any inconveniences caused to you.
Kindly take note that in order for our Smart Shopper Team to conduct and investigation they require copies of the till slip which reflects the last 4 digits of the smart shopper card number or TymeBank card number that was swiped.
Our team will not be able to allocate points using a bank statement as some items purchased may have been part of the exclusion. We did go through your shopping history and have only managed pick up 1 shop done on 6.5.2021 for which points have been allocated to your card.
