Smart Shopper Points Cancellation card number *** Amelda Ebertson
Good day, Last year I had an excess of R5000 worth of points which apparently expired in December 2017. Previous years this never happened. I was actually very chuffed with the fact that I was able to keep a nice amount for a rainy day. Well that rainy day came in January and to my surprise there was nothing! Why was I never made aware of this - not via mail, sms or people working at the till. Clicks will for instance always make you aware that you have points available and will warn you that it is going to expire. If it was a small amount of money I maybe would not have been this upset, but it is a huge amount. I also contacted them by phone which never realised because it was too busy. I mailed them twice and have had NO response regarding this matter! Is there something I can do? Regards, Amelda Ebertson.

Kindly note Smart Shopper points are valid for 12 months from the time they’re earned. The best way not to lose your PnP rewards is to make sure you spend them from time to time. We always use your oldest points first so use your points to save even more on every day shopping or treat yourself to something special. You can switch points on the app or via the kiosk.
We are sorry you didn't receive the communication that points are valid for 12 months from earning date via our emails or on till slips.
We have escalated to have your deleted points (474524 points) re-instated, the points will reflect within 7 business days.
