Smart shopper points
I think it is important that everyone knows about the T&C about smart shopper points, which assume know one knows about. I went to pick n pay tokia Junction to buy some goods. After paying for the goods I checked the slip to see how much smart shopper points I have accumulated.. to my surprise their was only 251 points on the slip compared to what was on my smart shopper card previously of +-600 ( I never redeemed any points). Their was a representative at the self help kiosk to check your points. I queried this with the girl, who advised that your smart shopper points expiry after 1 year... apparantly a SMS should've have been sent notifying the shopper of this, I didn't receive any message... pick n pay this is *****ing!!!And perhaps a que for me to move to another competitor who is more honest....

Smart Shopper points are valid for 12 months from the time they’re earned. Only points older than 12 months will expire and not all of your points, and points older than 12 months will continue to expire on a rolling month basis. The best way not to lose your PnP rewards is to make sure you spend them from time to time. We always use your oldest points first so use your points to save even more on every day shopping or treat yourself to something special. You can switch points on the app or via the kiosk.
