SMART SHOPPER NIGHTMARE

Pick n Pay has been sending my 72 year old mother from pillar to post over the past few weeks over her Smart Shopper Points. I managed to get things sorted out for her and to make future transactions easier, I bought her a gift card to the value of her points. Earlier today she went to the Kenilworth Centre supermarket and was told by Cashier: WC04 that the gift card does not work and did not even bother to call a supervisor for assistance. I had the gift card checked after purchasing it and got a Balance Enquiry slip that confirms the amount on the gift card. I am utterly disgusted at the way Pick n Pay and their employees have been treating my mother. This is just the latest chapter of my mother's Smart Shopper Point drama. I demand that a senior customer service manager contact me to resolve this issue without any further delay and ensure that action is taken against the cashier and that she is provided with more customer service training. Enough is enough!
