Smart shopper card is a load of nonsense

Since when have prices become regulated by the Smart Shopper? Is the smart shopper not a points system that rewards customers for frequent shopping, where points are accummulated and then ultimately converted into discount. Why is it regulating prices? So my card stopped working in store about a month ago, I have been trying to sort it out for a month with customer care. Been in store for assistance of which no one can help. No one can explain either why it stopped working in store only. Last realize might take up 48 hours to correct. In the mean time happy shopping and please oay the higher price since your card isn't working. Nice! No longer a valued customer. I took time out my day to drive to your shop to buy goods with a flawed smart shopper system and I am penalized. How is this even legal. What happened to the good old days where you could walk into a shop and pay the price on the shelf and be valued as a customer. Where did things get do complicated and the amount of times your personal information is exchanged/needed for these points systems be legal. It's absolutely ridiculous. No wonder Pick n Pay is under debt rescue, you are being picky about custimers. Someone with a card may only visit your shop 4 times a year but they qualify for the discounted prices because they have a smart shopper card that works while another customer that frequent your store 4 times a month must pay the higher price because of no smart shopper card. Really? Your system of regulating price through the smart shopper card is flawed and unfair. I'm honestly over shopping at Pick n Pay now.
