Smart shopper card hacked.
Hi all
I recently attempted to use my smart shopper points, only to find that it had already been used to purchase a sausage roll and a 440ml coke at a pnp. This happened in the same day, whuch was yesterday, that i put fuel in my vehicle and was asked to produce my smart shopper card for the points. Ther is a pnp on the premises about 10m away frm the bp, so this is no coincidence. Im kinda down as i look foward to spending my points on my kids when they want sweets and toys. It helps alot in that department, but knowing it can be so easily hacked is not a comforting fact. Makes u think of how secure card payments really are, so i jst wana thank pnp for the assurance they provide, its really comforting.

Thank u for the response.
Im not upset about this or anything, i jst wanted to bring it to your attention about how the guy is doing it. He is obviously a petrol attendant. Basically he clones 1 card, then he uses the card to swipe after people put in large amounts of fuel.... He then waits for the points to accumulate and then goes and spends it. I cn gladly foward u a screenshot of the amounts that were swiped for..... 2 amounts of over 1000 rand and more.
It happened at the bp garage in lake road grassy park, feel free to request any furthet details.
Thank you
