shoes faulty

i bought a pair of shoes (tekkies) in green at the clothing branch in the new harbor view mall, simonstown. these shoes are available in blue, white, pink, black, blue.... i used them not longer than 4 weeks and the sole just cracked all the way from left to right. i wrote to pick and pay about 3 weeks ago, no answer whatsoever.
