SHOCKING service at Pick n Pay, Newton Park, Port Elizabeth

Pick N Pay Newton Park, Port Elizabeth: Oct I bought a mark down Xmas tree, fibre optic. When I went last wknd to put ot up with my friends 5year old, there was no pot for the tree, bottom plastic was broken and top of tree gone...HOW do you even put that on the shelf? I returned it yest and was first ignored and eventually greeted with a "chin in the air half nod" followed by a "ja". After explaining she called the Manager...who I am still waiting. I eventually gave up and did my shopping. Security said "trolley" to trolley guy who fetched me a trolly but did not look up once while doing so. On his return with the trolley I got a little bumb with the trolley as he was still no looking up.... Went back to ask about the manager. I was stared at and got another nod of the head. I eventually threw my arms in the air and asked what did he say? "He said its ok" and i could get a voucher. When wanting to pay my stuff at the till, I just lost it. The unfriendliness and unhelpfulness is shocking. I just left my thongs there. I eventually got my voucher from the very unfriendly and very rude "chin in the air" lady and left. Never to return. Such a nice pick n pay but the arrogance and attitude of the workers are shocking.

When I spoke to someone about it afterwards, they had same experience, saying only time that place is acceptable is when head office visits...maybe head office should do secret visits.
