SHOCKING SERVICE

I have sent this to Pick n Pay head office, bounced back then sent again according to their online system with NO RESPONSE!!!! On the 8th August 2020 we bought a KIC fridge from Hypermarket by the Sea in Durban North, invoice number 15127, cash slip number 099394 there was a promotion with the fridge for 2 lt milk free once a week until December, I was told it was loaded on my shopper card. I was also given a voucher which I presented to the Ballito Branch some weeks later, I was given my milk, I asked for the voucher back to present the next time and I was told not to worry it was loaded on my Shopper card. When I went into Ballito Junction Pick n Pay, at the till I was told I had to pay for my milk, I explained that my milk was part of a promotion and that I don’t pay and it was loaded on my card. I was then told no its not loaded and I have to pay, I told her to call the manager and the teller then asked the assistant to speak to the manager, she came back and told us that the manger knows nothing of this so I had to pay. I told the teller to take the milk off my total as I was not paying. I then preceded to the manager who was not interested and asked an assistant to take me to another teller and she must phone Pick n Pay call centre which she did. The teller kept asking me if I wanted a new card and the more I was explaining to her she was asking if I wanted a card. In exasperation I signaled to the manager to come and assist, he then proceeded to explain to the teller who explained to the call centre agent. The teller was put on hold for a number of times with one time telling me to speak to her which I refused to do as it is Covid and I refuse as a 67 years old and high risk to take a phone from her, put it in my ear and speak into a speaker that has a number of mouths to it. I stood at the tellers till/desk (she was at the front assisting with lotto tickets at the same time) for over half an hour while she was waiting for the call centre agent to come back to her. Eventually I couldn’t stand around any longer and left.

I am actually furious about this as the attitude was a don’t care attitude. Why was this not loaded on my card or is it loaded on my card who knows and who cares.
