Shocking Behaviour of Pick n Pay Supervisor
On 2021/09/16 we visited our local Pick n Pay and as usual and with the current situation in the country we took full advantage of most of your specials. When we got to the cashier it would appear that my poor eyesight at 51 years of age let me down when I did not read the fine print of the sale price tag where the promotion was for the 500g honey and not the 375g. A supervisor went with me to the shelves and corrected me which I graciously appreciated and accepted. The other items in our basket which were also on special but picked up by my wife who has no problem with her eyes found that these items were not being discounted at the cashier. The supervisor was called again and I am not sure if it was for wasting her time earlier but she leaned forward braking all COVID protocols and shouted into my wife's ear as if she was reprimanding a little child. My wife was shocked so I stepped in and explained that the staff of Pick n Pay did not set the shelves correctly which lead to the confusion but having said that there was no reason for her to shout at my wife in the manner she did. I reminded that she was out of line but she continued to raise her voice and shout at us in a different language. When I said that I was going to complain she said in a very sarcastic manner, "here is my number, the manager is in the office, go and do what you want and don't waste my time. We were so shocked at this response but immediately realized that any employee that responds like this is sure that her manager will not do a thing. We left the rest of our shopping, paid for what was rung up and left but decided that you should be made aware of what happens in your stores.
