Shocking Abuse by Security and Manager

My 60 y/o mother visited the Mitchells Plein Town centre branch on 02 April '15 at 12H30. She carries a backpack as her hand bag as this allows her hands to be free and also prevents a ***** from grabbing it and running off. She was stopped at the entrance by the security guard and told to leave it at the parcel counter. My mother went to the manageress and attempted to explain that it was her hand bag and not as large as some of the shoulder bags being taken into the store but this fell on deaf ears. She went to stand in the line at the parcel counter to leave it there and when she reached the front was told there was no space. She attempted to talk to the manager once again who was now too busy to talk to her. She then attempted to go into the store and was stopped by the female guard who put her foot on the trolley. When my mother tried to once again explain the situation this guard shouted for male guard to assist. She was harshly told by this man she couldn't enter the store with her bag and if she \didn't like it she could get out". During this time another man entered the store with a backpack on his back but my mother was publicly humiliated. The manger then in intervened."""
