Shame on you Pick 'n Pay for your ten item policy while cashiers are idling

Shame on you Pick 'n Pay for telling idling cashiers not to assist customers with more than ten items. Or are they only allowed to help white people only? I went to Pick 'n Pay on 24th February 2020 at 15H40, and lo and behold! the cashier refused to help me even though she was idling and had no customers. I proceeded to the next cashier and she too told me that I had more than ten items. I threatened to leave my groceries and she relented. She was also idling and had no customers but also sited the ten items policy. I can understand if the store is busy. Where in the name of good retail stores did Pick 'n pay come up with such garbage policy? With that garbage policy I want to see them getting their 13th cheque next time.
