Shabby Pick'n'Pay Claremont

Kudos to Hellopeter - the Pick'n'Pay PR machine was on the phone within minutes of my previous posting on the site, where polite suggestions to Pick'n'Pay Claremont and Head Office at the Racecourse have had zero effect.

In fact, despite the clear understanding of the problem evidenced above, Pick'n'Pay Claremont apparently remains immune to improvement.

A recent visit found the same sad sight - no baskets, no basket trolleys, the usual overflowing bin of blue clean-it-yourself, we-can't be-bothered wipes... I'm frankly ashamed to shop there.

I wondered into the store other way the other day behind a chap unlike myself on every demographic indicator, and he too snorted at the dirty, hand-less basket, remarking to himself, "It's not like they don't make enough money out of us".

How true!
