Selling Wine

I was at Pick & Pay V&A Waterfront, before the wine isles closed. Took a bottle of wine for someone's birthday present and wine isle closed before I paid. So they didn't want to ring up the wine at the counter. I understand the \law\" and the manager's explanation that she don't want to go to jail.... But THEN, on the counter right next to me, that exact moment, the sold a bottle of wine to the guy in line. This is ABSOLUTE nonsense?!?!? And I would understand if I was trying to get a bottle of wine from the closed isle and they said no. But if the wine was \"bought\" and in my trolley before the wine isle closed, how on earth can they refuse that I pay for it. The least P&P can do is put notices up to pay for wine before the time and SORT OUT YOUR DOUBLE STANDARDS. Unacceptable!"
