Selling rotten eggs with maggots

Bought 2 trays eggs ( pick and pay brand ) on black Friday (25 /11/2022) from pick and pay hyper durban north , only to go home and open it a few days later ,to find out that the eggs we rotten and had worms/maggots in the tray , my wife almost threw up when she cracked the eggs , Took the eggs to the store today 01/12/2022, the 2 ladies at the returns counter were disgusted with the smell, I then spoke to a Manger who checked it and all he had to say was sorry, sorry doesn't make me feel better, sorry doesn't pay for my feul to come all the way there to return something that's the stores fault, the stock should have been quality checked before selling to the customers. Pick and pays , I don't think I be buying eggs or even eating eggs after this incident at your store. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER
