SALMONELLA HIGH RISK FROM PNP EGGS

If I could give zero stars I would. I am beyond disgusted and gravely disappointed in the lack of customer services from pick n pay sinoville branch. Of April I went to sinoville branch and amongst other things purchased 30 eggs. I have been having a horrible experience with the quality of their eggs. I told the store manager that I want to check if the eggs are clean or not before purchasing them he opened them and they were not clean he advised me on what to do. I told him that this was a common occurrence from pick n I even showed him photographic evidence with dates. He reassured me that he would assist. A few days later someone contacted me, her name is Renee. She got the supplier quality assurance manager of some sort to call me. They all offered me 30 more eggs. The last person to call me was the worst among them all. She said because she can see that I am a lady who likes good quality she is actually going to offer me free range eggs. I declined. Found that horribly disgusting. I am presenting to pick n pay an issue that involves their customers health. Instead of that person using their brain to come up with a better solution she is offering me free range eggs!! Pick n pay is selling eggs that are prohibited according to the agricultural product standards act of 1990. The eggs that I complained about were Grade 3/C eggs, they were dirty some were leaking and some were expired. This poses serious threat to our health as customers but instead of these people coming up with a tangible solution I was offered free range eggs!!!!! The second to last person who called me annoyed me because she said we received a complaint regarding dirty she made it sound so light but the act says these eggs are prohibited from being sold. They are contaminated. Some had even a shiny residue showing that they were in a batch that had broken eggs and the eggs egg they were in a batch that had broken eggs and the egg white blood on the other eggs, that is contamination. Food safety agency also prohibits what pick n pay is doing. I sent an email to the head office 5 days ago!! Yeah to no one has responded!! South Africans are at risk of contracting salmonella through the negligence of pick n pay and they are supplier! Shame on you
