Pick n Pay must list as one of the retailers with the absolute words consumer satisfaction in South Africa. After being treated like absolute trash by their store manager Bekani at Chilli Lane. And all because of misleading advertising and pricing on their shelves, which goes against the consumer protection act. I called them and they immediately cancelled my ticket. I then messaged them on Instagram and was told they have reopened it and will follow up. This was two weeks ago, I have heard nothing. Now they delete my comments on their posts, and then ignore my messages in DM, in regards to my complaint. I don’t want anything from Pick n Pay except for an outcome as to how my complaint and their disgusting manager is being dealt with, after treating a consumer like absolute trash. I also want to know what they are going to do with their misleading shelf pricing and specials, deceiving the consumer. Their business practice goes against every bit of our rights as consumers, I am also laying an official complaint with the Consumer Council of South Africa. Trying to bury it, has only infuriated me more.
