Running Specials But No Stock - What's The Point?!

We live in Betty's Bay, so our closest Hypermarket is Somerset West.

We saw they had the Blu52 pool cleaner on special so we drove the almost 50 kilometres, only to be told there was no stock. That special ended the 22 January.

We were there on Monday the 19th.

Another special for the same pool cleaner started today, the 22nd at all Hypermarkets.

So we drove through yet again only to be told there was still no stock.

How can you run specials and not ensure your stores have stock?!

When I asked the gentleman who helped us if he can put one aside for us when they do get stock, as we came far, he said no, we must drive to Brackenfell!

With the petrol we have already driven out, what would be the point as the extra fuel to Brackenfell would negate the special.

What an absolute disgrace!

I will rather take my business to Checkers in future.
