Rude till staff and no stock

I hope that you are well and keeping safe.

I have a complaint regarding a purchase that I made yesterday at the above-mentioned branch.

Bought an item that was on promotion and the free 1 liter cake was advised to be out of stock, I then requesting on a rain check for the coke and the Supervisor sitting by the window said that there was no such and the cashier that didn’t not even respond to my greeting rude said are you leaving the brandy cause there is no free coke? And this raised some questions that I need answered.

1. If we are running a promotion and offering freebies, are we not supposed to have sufficient product? 2. Is the customer not important that in such a way that we are not even willing to find a solution/alternative so this should be verified by the sitting supervisor? 3. Why was it not possible for me to get a rain check for the out-of-stock coke?

Please ask Maria to treat every customer young or old with respect and the sitting male supervisor to start taking pride in his job and not lounge around when the store does not have stock or maybe the stock was just not packed and they just did not care.

This is the one reason why your customer is opting to go to checker Liquor cause of the services.

Pick n pay staff are slowly becoming like the Shoprite staff that don’t have manners.
