Rude Supervisor - Wendy - Tygervalley

I visited the Pick n Pay store at Tygervalley Shopping center to purchase a few items for dinner. When i got to the till I asked the cashier to please check the price of an item before she scanned it but she scanned it instead an due to the price i told her i didn’t want it. She looked a bit upset then pressed the button to call a Manager to override the system . This was teller number 7. She then went on with her conversations with the other cashiers and the bag packer and totally ignored me and made no effort to call a supervisor. After a while i went and found the supervisor. Her name is Wendy. I asked her if she can assist us at the till, She looked at me an immediately said "Im the only one on duty, everybody should know so yourl must wait" No smile, no empathy, Nothing. All she could have said was ' Apologies Sir, i will be with you in a minute" and it doesn’t cost much to smile even if you dont mean it. Wendy really needs training in "smiling" and obviously customer service being a supervisor. I was there around 1630 today 10 May 2017. Please can this be addressed as I do not feel the need to go back and shop there again due to this type of service.

Hi Vanitha,

Thank you for the response, however, how will I know if this issue was addressed or if this is a generic response? Will I receive any feedback if this is addressed?

Regards,
