Rude behaviour from a supervisor

Good day

I had a very disappointing experience at Pick n Pay Huttenheights Newcastle on Thursday, 17/11/2022. I was buying prepaid electricity and the cashier, Zanele, was assisting me, we were chatting and laughing while we were waiting for the system to run. Let me just make this clear: the issue I have is not with Zanele, she is one of Pick n Pay's best employees. The issue I have is with their supervisors, the 3 white ladies who are forever standing against the wall looking down at the packers and cashiers to see what they do wrong. But specifically on this day the one supervisor, who's name is Elna, made me feel ashamed and disgusted to see that one person can be so rude and unprofessional towards another employee. As I said, me ans Zanele were chatting and laughing while we waited for the prepaid electricity to pull through and as we were standing there, Elna comes and interrupts us rudely: she tells poor Zanele rudely to log in and sign out because it is time for her to go. She has no manners. She is very unprofessional and unfriendly. This is no way to treat your colleague! There are betters ways to speak to speak to another person. I feel Elna needs to be send for training on how to be a proper supervisor and how to treat your colleagues and customers or she needs to be given another job where she doesn't need to work with other humans as she lacks the skill. When she interrupted me and Zanele she didn't even apologize or greeted me. In fact she didn't even look at me the customer. She made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I can just imagine how Zanele felt, and she didn't do anything wrong. I apologized to Zanele for Elna's rude behaviour. There is just one more point I have to make. This is not an isolated incident: this behaviour I have witnessed routinely from the 3 lady supervisors who os forever supporting the wall necause ot meeds their assitance to stand up straight. I have seen how they have refused one of the packers a toilet break. I have seen how they scolded the packers when they leen on the counter or rest their hands on the counter, but wall flowers are allowed to hang on the wall...It just makes me wonder...Are they as supervisors far above the rest of us mere mortals...
