******* unprofessional attitude to stocking

This is my constant battle with indifferent and dismissive attitude of Pick 'n Pay management. Without fail there is always something that is out of stock and having spoken every time to them about it - today I just gave up. For months there has been no unsalted butter - shelves of salted butter from every manufacturer, but no unsalted. I have also spoken to the management on at least 4 or 5 occasions about no stock of Anat Roti's ... plenty of Anat Wraps which they pile high on two shelves - no Roti's. It's not like they've never stocked them. I have bought before from the same store. Also no Cauliflower.. Plenty of broccoli and packs with half cauliflower and broccoli heads in the same pack - but no whole head of cauliflower... Why not? That's just stupid!! Just don't cut the flipping things and let me decide if I want both. No fresh Thyme sprigs . I don't want to have to visit 3 different shops to get the most simple ingredients. Having spoken to a floor manager on one occasion he wrote my comments in a book - why he bothered I don't know. That was for no stock of Ina Paarman Tikka Curry coat and cook sauce. When I next visited the store he recognized me (I'm there every day), and was very excited to tell me that the same sauce I managed to find from Spar must have been old stock, because Ina Paarman no longer make that sauce. I was very disappointed but accepted his explanation... A week later I noticed that the shelves were again stocked with Ina Paarman Tikka Curry sauce. Either they bought out the rest of the Spar's "old stock", or the more likely explanation - he did nothing about it and simply ****!! It's so frustrating when you have no apparent recourse - makes me want to stand in the middle of the shelves and just throw everything on the floor and shout... If you're going to run a store - do it properly and pay attention to the needs of your customers - with integrity!!

Why don't I believe it...??? Standard "cut and paste" response. It's shameful when a business is so successful that arrogance replaces the concept of service and the attitude is one of - take it or leave it.
