******* quality slippers dont last

I have 2 complaints about slippers I purchased 4 weeks ago at Pick n Pay Sunningdale.

1. There are no “care” instructions indicating how to wash them, so I put them in a washing machine. Now the one slipper pair (grey) has crumpled up foam and is un-wearable. 2. The second pair (blue) has holes in it already, within a month of purchase ?! 3. I went into the branch, and was met by a very unfriendly and combative staff member (Jennifer) who refused to help me, could not tell me what care instructions were for the slippers, and refused to exchange. Another staff member came to look, her name was Zentinne. She also just looked at me. I asked to speak to a manager, to which Jennifer rep**** “I am the one who is going to help you” but again she couldn’t answer my questions. She claims I am the first person to complain about these slippers. I don’t really care if I am the first, of 500th person to complain. A complaint is a complaint. The refused to call anyone else and Jennifer maintains she is the manager.

Upon calling the customer care line at my own cost, I was asked if I had the slip from 4 weeks ago, and was told I cannot get a refund without a slip. The point was not a refund, it was an exchange or an explanation, none of which was given, even by the customer care line. These slipper are ******* quality and I am furious at the lack of respect shown by your staff.

I expect some type of answer back please, as I still am in the dark about the supposed cleaning instructions of these inferior slippers.
