Rotten Potatoe chips

Bought a packet of "Pick n Pay potatoe chips" . It was supposed to be cheese and onion flavoured, but actually turned out to be squishy rotten potato flavour. My 9 year year old had reached his hand into the packet to feel something squishy and soft, to our horror it was a whole rotten potatoe. Where is the quality control in such circumstances. I am ever so grateful that even though my son had already consumed some chips - he didn't end up with food poisoning as this is a serious health risk. This is absolutely unacceptable and should my child become sick or had been poisoned, than are we as consumers at risk for supporting Pick n Pay. Yes a few burnt chips here and there is understandable, but a flavoured squishy rotten potatoe is just not acceptable. Pick n Pay has put the well-being of my child at risk and I am extremely not impressed. How are quality controls and other systematic procedures being conducted and if so are they actually being conducted ????
