ROTTEN PORK CHOPS

I have had the unfortunate experience of purchasing pork chops from the butchery at Pick n Pay Vaal Mall on Saturday 09th April. The sell by date was the 11th April so I had no indication that the meat could possibly be off. It was only once I returned home and opened the packing that I became aware. Were it not for my keen sense of smell I may have cooked and consumed these chops and been INCREDIBLY ill thereafter. I contacted the Customer Care promptly but the response that I received was either \take it back to the shop and get a refund\" or extra points on my smart shopper card. I truly believe that this matter was NOT taken seriously!! Had I landed up in hospital would I still only be offered extra points on my card? This is downright negligent and dangerous. I'm utterly unimpressed and disillusioned with Pick n Pay."
