Rotten Polony

At Pick n pay Clearwater yesterday 21st Jan a friend and i went to get some bread and polony after not finding anyone at the deli we walked up and down looking for the staff that are supposed to be there. when she finally appears the helps two other customers before us, I guess that its because we were complaining because there was no one there in the first place. Then we asked for R20 polony and we were told they don't have and we must take the pre cut on the shelf, We went to look and the polony on the shelf and it was rotten, It was no longer pink it was brown and slimy it smelled like death. After complaining to the deli manager, she told me that the polony was fine and expiry date 22nd Jan. I asked her if she would eat this and she just walked away. I went to look for the store manager and he removed the polony from the shelf immediately and told them to cut us fresh polony. Miraculously a full roll of polony appeared. So it took us 20 minutes to get R20 polony. Terrible service from the deli staff.
