Rotten meat Sold to Customers

CONSUMERS DO NOT PURCHASE MEAT FROM PICK n PAY before reading this.

I purchased 2 packs of barbequed lamp chops on Monday afternoon. The date on the packets indicated that they had not expired. Tey were placed in the fridge and 2 hours later I began to prepare supper. The first packet opened was so rotten it was slimy and terribly offensive. I opened the second and it was exactly the same. Should a consumer be cautious enough to open the plastic covering and actually smell the contents of your products before exchanging money for perishables? Definitely yes yes yes! Unless you want to become critically ill from consuming bacteria covering rotten meat. Shop at a more reputable retailer who won't jeopardise your health for want of financial gain
