Rotten Food

My son desperately wanted me to make for him Alfredo. So i rushed to my local Pick n Pay at Honeydew Junction and I bought a packet of bacon bits and a few things. When i got home i opened the bacon to prepare and the stench almost suffocated us. The bacon was completely off smelling like a dead cat!! I quickly threw the contents in the bin as i had already put in the pan, i took the empty packet and rushed to pick n pay. I spoke to the Manager who seemed unmoved and quickly summoned one of the ladies and asked her to refund. The woman came back with the money and that was it no one apologised or showed remorse. I went back and asked her what they are going to do about the bacon on the shelf, she just mumbled and said we will remove it and left. The date on the packet showed the expiry date as 31 July 2019. I think Pick n Pay really need to do their Quality Management and at the same time customer service. i would have expected an apology or a consolation or show some concern
