Rotten chicken

To whom it may concern

I would like to draw your attention to the quality of the 5kg chickens being sold in your store at the Promenade Mall, Mitchel’s Plain. While I would normally bring this up with the direct store i am just appalled t hat PnP as the organization will have such issues , I believe food should be more closely monitored for freshness.

On April 30, I purchased 5kg Brine Chickn B/Pack" Cashier 6 ( WC33). I normally buy the same range and I keep on my freezer with no issues , this time around when I cooked the chicken on Saturday , the chicken is smelling badly its old and rotten can not be eaten by human beings nor animals for that matter. I was planning to return it but due to travelling commitments I am unable to visit the pick n pay store. I am so disappointed as I have waisted my money and I would like it back. As I am writing this I just threw it away.

I have included a picture of the rotten chicken as well as my receipt. I would appreciate a refund, but I would also like to request that you do not risk your customers with food that may constitute a health risk.
