Rotten after 2 days!!

I bought pint of strawberries on Saturday from the Canal Walk branch, like I do every Saturday evening. The container indicates that the best before date is Wednesday, 16 December, but this morning when I wanted to eat it half the bowl is rotten and majority of them are mushy and discoloured. This is not the first time that this has happened as twice before I have bought berries and they went bad in two days. This is ridiculous as it indicates the strawberries are overripe and not suppose to be sold anymore as they are technically old( A tip - When putting strawberries on your shelf make sure that a small piece of the strawberry is greet and that the colour is bright red and not deep red). I buy at Pick n Pay as they have great quality at good prices but if this happens again then I will have to change stores.
