Rewardless rewards card -Smart Shopper rejected

I have just left a trolley load of groceries at the till at the Christians Village Pick n’ Pay as the till operator and Management would not accept my wife’s smart shopper. What is the point of having the smart shopper if this is the way you treat your customers.
