Reminder to stick to decision to NOT shop at Pick n Pay (all of them)

Made the mistake again to also pop into Pick n Pay Hypermarket William Moffat this morning, as I was in vicinity to draw money. They have house brand butter on special. As i don't trust the till price I took a picture of the price label on display at the fridge. At the till I asked the lady to make sure all of the discounted prices registered. She said yes it will once she swiped my Smart Shopper card. The butter did not come at the discount price. That I realised after paying. Till lady said sorry but now I must go to refund counter to get it sorted. I did not plan to go to the refund counter, nor did I want to do so - and to top it all there was nobody at the refund counter. So i had to search around to be assisted as If I was the one in the wrong. This is another reminder to stay away from Pick n Pay! The last time I was in this shop I had to put up a fight about Nestle Cuppachino sticks that were on Special but same thin till price different than discount advertised. And so it goes from visit to visit. I eventually found Brendan who refunded me without all the schlepping around. Why don't P n P do this refund at their tills like it is done at Checkers?
