Reluctant Staff

<p>On Sunday the 4th July 2016 I was at Pick n Pay (Somerset Mall). I was informed that the lamb is at a good price and wanted to purchase half a lamb. I asked one of the butchery staff members for a half a lamb and she called her superior to assist, he was reluctant to come to the counter and assist and made some hand gestures stating “no they are not going to cut a lamb now” to the staff member assisting me. The staff member then indicated that I should take a half a lamb which is already cut and bagged. I took the half a lamb as recommended by the staff member. At home I opened the bag to clean the meat and make smaller bags to fit the fridge, to my surprise I found a considerable amount of fat laying loose in the bag as well as extra thick layers of fat on the meat…I really don’t think this is lamb… and to be so sly in forcing me to buy the meat knowing full well what’s in the bag. Why just not give what I asked for??? After all I’m going to pay for the freshly cut “lamb”. Really disappointed!!</p>
