refund of the gift voucher when lost or ******

I have bought a gift voucher for R2200.00 and somebody ****** my car and took all my belongings unfortunately the gift voucher was in my purse and was also ****** i went back to pick n pay to find out if my fund on the voucher can be transferred into a new card, the lady by the Name of Betty in pick n pay metropolitan Bethlehem branch assisted me she went to phone and find out and when she got back she told me they cannot do that but they can only block the card so that the next person cannot use it and i cannot get my money back so basically my money went in vain
