Recommend products which earn the most commission vs needs of the customer

Pick and Pay advertised a 43" Skyworth TV on Black Friday and the price was valid till 06/12/20. I called a couple stores on 27/11 to check if they had stock, Woodmead stated they out of stock, I was unable to reach the Norwood branch as their telephone number does not exist, finally got through to Greenstone Mall branch. I spoke to Janette from the appliance department and she said they were out of 43' but had a few 40' in stock. I told her it will take me a while to get there if she could hold one for me, she confirmed with her manager that she would if I could get there urgently. I immediate rush over only to find a lot of 40" TV available. I request for Janette and prior to making the purchase advise her that the special is available till the 6/12 and when will they be receiving more stock as I was happy to wait or take a rain check. She confirmed that they are not getting anymore and I proceeded to make my purchase. Yesterday 06/12 I walked into the Killarney P&P branch just before they could close for essentials only to see the shelves packed with 43' TVs. My complaint is that I was misinformed by the staff and sold a product which earns commission vs the needs of the client. If I did not see the stock in store yesterday I would have been okay with my purchase. I request P&P to do the right thing and contact me urgently to advise on a return policy so I can get the 43' TV I want at the advised sale price until the 06/12/20. Eager awaiting contact and assistance to change my 40" TV to the 43"
