Ready ripe avo's - ROCK HARD - paying a premium
<p>I bought 6 avo's from Pick n Pay The Bedford yesterday for R34.99. The packaging clearly states 3 ripe and ready and 3 to ripen at home. Ripe ones had green stickers unripe had orange. Needless to say on opening the pack to make salad last night with my "Ripe avo's" I found 6 hard rocks. So NO salad.</p> <p>Not impressed and definitely false advertising.</p>
