Rain Cheques Disaster!!!

I wanted to buy a Ryobi Petrol Chainsaw 36cc (R999) that was advertised in the first week of September’s 2018 catalogue. The product was sold out, I was given a rain cheques. (Rain cheques number: ********** , dated 13/09/18, Lifestyle Centurion) After numerous phone calls to the store and customer care (and a couple of visits to the store), I have not been assisted up to date. Neither did I get any feedback when the item will be available for me to buy at the price advertised. I been told that I will be phoned back to make arrangements by the store and customers care. This is unreal – 5 months and still do not have the chainsaw.
