Rain cheque not worth the paper written on it

Pick n Pay Letlhabile store manager, Tebogo told me that the rain cheque for an out of stock sale item (250g Jacobs Coffee) is not worth the paper written on it. He basically told me that the item was taken out of the system for supply to his branch and there was nothing he could do to remedy the situation, and this was said with an attitude.
