Rain cheque not honoured

Went to purchase Lux 750ml Bodywash for R29.99 each. Neither Pick n Pay Equestria (Grove Mal) nor Lynnwood Ridge had stock.

I had received rain-cheques and was promised that they would call me when stock arrived. This did not happen. Several attempts at both the stores showed no stock. Finally William at the Grove Mall was rude in not wanting to give me his details nor honour the rain cheques. I stood for half an hour at the till very embarrassed as they made me feel like I was trying to cheat the store - despite having legitimate rain cheques.

It is Pick n Pay that did not have stock of an advertised item and I am continually having to waste my time driving to and fro.

I have placed a complaint on their website, and to my dismay received no response. That being said, I would like a senior manager to call me.

This ******* service should stop.
