Racial profiling for security searches at Pick 'n Pay -******s.
Ballito Pick 'n Pay are ***ards, ****** ***ards. I have used this store perhaps 30 times in the past year and never once was I stopped when entering with a trolley from checkers or Woolies because I am a white male... today my black partner was stopped and searched and harassed... This is cleaarly racial profiling and I will not stand for it. I have even confirmed with the till workers that the management are ****** bullies... You know who you are and your time is almost up... What happened to innocent until proven guilty? The products in my handbag, pocket, carrier packets are not to be touched by Pick'nPay staff, if you suspect me of crime, call the police service, I do not consent to be searched or stopped and harassed by shop-staff or security. Just because unemployment and shop-losses are a real issue, should the innocent be subject to suspicion? This abuse only happens to black African nationals and the day will come when the citizens say no-more and you ****** staff will pay - we will not forget!!
I am well aware that the South African level of unemployment is the highest on earth. according to MSM, and as such, the security industry is the biggest employer in South Africa and pilfering / theft is probably rife in the retail sector.... but what of "innocent until proven guilty?" and what of common decency and 'benefit of the doubt'? When I meet someone for the first time, I first take them at their word until they prove otherwise. Nowhere else do innocent customers get subjected to the levels of suspicion that we get in RSA, especially if you happen to be any other colour than white. I also live in Portugal, Switzerland, Botswana and the UK... but only in RSA do I get this horrible service... It boils my blood when a security guard wants to tape up my bags, how about taping up my moonbag/bumbag and my jeans pockets too? where am I likely to hide ****** goods?, so tape up my sleeves and make sure my loose-fitting clothing is taped up too.... and then the chap at Pick 'n Pay thinks he has the right to sort through the items in my Woolies bags before I enter the shop??? RSA is a mess, from education, to sanitation, to municipalities, 80% of our river systems are polluted, we are globally worst at science and maths, number 1 for ****, number 1 for unemployment - Well I speak out and I will not be subjected to abuse and poor service... Stop treating blacks like common *********, start caring about the broken things... The till staff at Ballito P'nP are scared to speak out about the management in the store, but as the Lord G-d is my witness, the black staff are not satisfied and they agree, ****** happens in P'nP... I now went out of my way to shop at Spar and it was wonderful, as was my experience in Checkers... P'nP has seen the last of me, I will vote with my wallet.
