R100 deal myth
On Sunday 9 Dec we went to PnP Hyper in Lifestyle Centurion to buy a few of the R100 and other bulk deals. After I paid I checked the till slip and saw we received no discount: 3 x boxes Jacobs Cappuccino supposed to be R100 was charged R146.97 2 x 1.5lt Nestle ice cream supposed to be R100 was charged R159.98 2 x 1kg Beeno dog biscuits supposed to be R100 was charged R133.98 3 boxes of Smarties supposed to be R21 was charged R26.97 10 pouches of Whiskas cat food supposed to be R60 was charged R79.90 We then had to wait a very long time in the queue at customer services to complain. The lady just took the items and refunded us R547.80. She didn’t even offer to supply it at the advertised price. We would not again waste the fuel and time to drive the 23km to this PnP to be cheated like this. Of the 29 items we bought 20 was returned. Those 20 items also disqualified us from the express tills and we had to stand in a long normal line.
