****py service from the supervisor

So last night I figure let me pop into Pick n Pay Liquor to get myself a well deserved drink.

On the shelves they had the different KWV's and I look at the prices and there it was the KWV 15 year old and the displayed price was R239. Being a ***** of a good brandy I take it and then my drama begins. I get to the till and met by a friendly teller who scanned the bottle and it didn't have a price on the system. She then proceeded to take it to the supervisor (Mirriam) so she can check the price and I even tell them that the price on the shelf where I got it. The teller went to get the price and came back with it and it was the same price that I had also seen.

THe supervisor then turns and says to me that the bottle that I want to buy is actually R659.99, I then asked why is it that there is a different price displayed on the shelf and it was not even one bottle put there but a whole lot of them.

She then became rude and started saying to me that I must learn to check barcodes and that Pick n Pay is not there responsible even though I did advise that they promoting something wrong by displaying incorrect prices. She even told me that I must just take it or leave it as she is not responsible for my ignorance.

I didn't want to argue with her or cause a scene as it was late and was tired so just took something else and walked out feeling embarrassed at the hands of someone who forgot to learn customer service when she was being trained as a supervisor better yet do you even train your supervisors especially when they work in the townships

She told me I mustn't think that it is my playground where I can just get things at cheap prices as it is not a jumble sale.

I must find myself a new retailer to shop at cause the PnP at Alex Mall is just *******.

Well well. this is very interesting... so from the time I went to the store to the time I posted this and having PnP contacting me back which hasn't happened till this day.

I guess customer service is something they don't care about since they have so many customers and what is one unhappy customer?

I am glad to say that the Gauteng Regional office or anyone from PnP haven't contacted me.

From me to you guys, thank you for nothing.
