Produce that isn't fresh

I bought carrots last week Tuesday part of Pick 'n Pay's R50 special where you get get 5 veggies and fruit all for R50. The carrots were rotten by Sunday. Why sell something that is about to go off. I had to throw away most of the carrots, only 2 were left that I could eat. I'm not buying produce from pick 'n pay Duduza rank ever again
