Priced to go

Hellopeter, I was at Pick n Pay The Glen oakdene bought some few goodies after payment I saw the total was high. I asked y was told because I didn't have a smart shopper account but I don't understand. you mark priced to go tomatoes for R21 then you pay R29. 99 for the unfresh tomatoes and told bcz of the smart shopper card that's misleading consumers. How can a price on a marked down go to its original price you know the reason why it's marked down
