Price issue , poor management /customer service

Systems Offline , i could not get half my trolley of stuff due to systems being offline. as per management systems are offline so i cannot get my smart shopper discounts and i have to take the item at full price or leave it back. i understand systems being offline but it is just an inconvenience to make another trip to the branch which can only be done on the weekend because they close so early. we were not notified that systems were offline even though the manager says it was offline from the previous day.(Informed when specials was not going through)
