Price hikes

I find Pick n pay prices quiet stip for their customers especially for our elderly people, I have seen during the grand pay days, specials would be made to cater for them, but in recent months I have seen less nd less of that, I was wondering how is to be expected for our elders to sustain themselves going forward in this economy.
