Price discrepancies at Pick and Pay Randfontein.

<p>Roughly 2 - 3 months ago I bought some droewors at Pick and Pay; on the shelf the item was priced at R 19.99. I purchased the item and once I returned home, I saw that the price of the item on my till slip was actually R 29.99. I contacted the support service of Pick and Pay and received a simple email telling me the matter was being escalated to the manager of the branch in question.</p> <p> </p> <p>Fast forward to today; I buy a 500g Stork margarine, marked as R 16.99 on the shelf. Yet again on my till slip the advertised priced is vastly different from the shelf price. R 25.99 is the actual amount.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is absolutely ******* service from Pick and Pay. There doesn't seem to be a system to check that prices are correct on the shelves. I used to buy there every Sunday but if this is the way that they conduct business I would rather take my money elsewhere.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
